Clarity clueless

This is an absolute term in its own meaning but when expressed with something which is also complete in its own idea the comprehension becomes quite crazy. I have been going through a debate with not only myself but with also the circle of people around me to define these two terms. My concerns are about the exposure and openness about various issues of life that we are defending and publicizing at the same time. For example I want my child to know about concepts of life in a very simple manner. Lying is bad and be truthful with yourself and never hide anything from your parents and be open and discuss everything. But is this liberty really being given in its true sense. I find it difficult at times to demonstrate most of the things or even explain some of the straightforward actions that we do in our daily routine life to a growing child of today’s enlightened world. It is VERY complex and one can find himself in a very tricky situation at times. After some time I realized that the main reason would be that we when were at the age of questioning and knowing and exploring new things were not given the freedom of probing into the matters related or unrelated to us. So we kept on doing most of the acts and things out of respect or we were told to do so and later it all became the basic ingredient of our lifestyles.

To utter surprise of us all this not the case nowadays. We need to be very clear about our concepts our belief and our actions. And for that we all have to increase our knowledge base. That is the only way things around us can be changed. If we need to bring a change we need to know the problem and address it thoroughly. For example, though it is very difficult to find a very good programme (in any term) for kids on any channel that you can remember but then we have to shift their maximum attention towards productive reading habits. Some more interactive learning so they experience basic things by doing simple exercises. Give freedom of asking questions but again be prepared with a logic and satisfactory answer. Be understandable so you can actually give the same level of unmistakable comprehension to you new generation. It is though painful to see the changing world and systems bring happiness and comfort in the lives of so many nations. We want to go and join them, live in their country according to their way of permission and be part of their success but are unable to change the place where we and our ancestors have lived since ever. Almost all of the successful nations have adopted the basic concepts of our religion which includes education, learning, making system of equal distribution of wealth, supporting the nation and people and have inculcated these basics to their young generation. That’s why they have lucid strong system of Taxes, education, reforms, law and order and so many others to name. (I am not going into a debate of religion just comprising of Women doing Parda and Islamic Shareeah according to the will of Mullah’s in our country.)  We Muslims have been given the clearest path anyone can dream of. Every system of the society is so logically and coherently defined and discussed in Islam and Quran. We just need to educate ourselves more about the core message in this divine book for becoming a successful nation. Everybody else is doing then why cant we?

Dead or alive we live as one Nation

Oh yes that is so true. We are all so united and so bonded that it is becoming creepy. And one would be thinking what in the world is this person saying. All we hear around is that we NEED to be united and be together and yet there is a shout aloud that we are ONE Nation so united…

Its true my friends its true. We are One United Nation. Ok let me be more explicit. Have you commuted through bike, or car today to come to office or drop you kid to school… YES.. hmmmm.?????? had a Sweet cup of tea or coffee in the morning for you breakfast ..YES.. hmmm. See that’s what I meant we are one nation … The Government is increasing the prices of Petrol and we are not going to quit using it. Not a single person saying that we will travel on anything not using petrol. That my way of protest. Simple quite polite , yet a marking statement… but no this is actually not happening so I guess we are supporting the Government and we are UNITED ad one true follower of the LEADER..

The sugar price is Rs. 100per kg and will still have sweet tea, milk, Mithai, bakery, u name it anything sweet… bring it on… why quit sugar and tell the Government we are against this non realistic up rise of prices.. no way.. I might think of going out on the roads, breaking some personal and/or government property burning few of them either but not quit using the products like sugar or patrol. This would be so silent protest who would notice… n then who cares. All my budget is upset, my grocery shopping will increase but will I actually look into the bill and see what’s the price of sugar bag or other sugar containing products.  I guess not. I might go up to my boss and complain about being under paid and over worked. Come home and be grouchy that now I have to buy this and not that..  and that’s about it.

Yesterday in quite a high profile meeting with few of my office colleagues, a very senior (in grade) person said if one politician had said I quite using petrol after this recent price hike, by God I would have seconded his decision and go out on street and protest…. But I kept on thinking would that really happen. May be not. As the person is still using his office maintained car and probably forgotten what he had said yesterday. Isn’t that what we all do? We do realize that what is happening is not fair. But we keep on absorbing and adjusting ourselves with things. Let it be increase in patrol price, 2% increase in electricity tariff, sugar price or Rs. 100 per kg of any behcari vegetable… so aren’t we truly and absolutely ONE Nation, bonded together in bond. One side is pressing so hard as to get the max out of it. And the other side getting pressed so hard to give the max and also live with it.

Dead or alive we are one nation…

One last chance

Too many events are happening in our country and yes like so many other my mind is overloaded with lot to express, write and share. We must have all silently and vocally cried about the injustice happening in the country but the sad part is nothing has been changed. These hope to change and that things might change some day seems to be fading away.

People put out of their homes and in search of help, food shelter.  Complains from general public (or victims of this situation is much appropriate) about lack of Government help and then appreciation for Army and civilians speedy measures or strategic moves in such miserable condition. Then I also want to express my views about what’s happening in the biggest metropolitan area of Pakistan. Different representatives coming from various sects of life (politicians and civilians) and giving statements, commenting and yet the unjust is phenomenal.

With all this happening suddenly there is a feeler sent in the through media that there is some “Change” expected. We among general public get a bit taken aback by this. What in the world is going to happen now? If you have been following the news of few politicians and some notable remarks by few Particular foreign forces it seems that a plan is going on and guess what this plan is about your country. When will we be able to plan and decide for ourselves? This is a question we might not get the answer for.

We as a nation have to do something more then just think and chat about. Its time for the general people to rise and tell the (so called) leaders that “stop making decisions that involve hidden benefits and stop being selfish”. Pakistan is a land for all of us not only few politicians that come in being ruler time and again and keep the development of the country the same. We want to have good education, clean and hygienic environment, safe and secure place to live, good infrastructure and a name to be proud of.

If this is not happening then the ratio of people leaving Pakistan generation after generation will increase. For example the youngsters working day n night for flood relief will not be having sense of belonging when they see that these efforts are not acknowledged and what they have collected it is being used by some of the allied beneficiaries. This generation will then opt to go abroad for education, jobs or whatever and not want to come back. So what are we left with few educated, lot uneducated/unemployed and full of rage generation. The law and order with then not be a situation going out of hands. It will be just the happening in the country.

Let’s give it another try. All rise and unite and be a force that is impossible to break through. Give it a chance because we all at-least deserve one more chance for ourselves.
